The Rangers Creed
To be read aloud, with a hand over the heart. A parent or grandparent may read it line by line, and the Ranger answers.
How the Club Works

- The Ranger reads The Rangers Creed aloud.
- A parent fills out the form below. That’s all we ask.
- The Ranger receives a numbered membership card(printable at home) — Ranger No. 1, No. 2, No. 3…
Ranks
One short email a month — the Dispatch — addressed to the parent, for the family: one lesson, one small challenge, one verse. No chat, no forums, nothing live. The club is not a school, not an investment service, and not financial advice — it is a reading club about honest work, saving, giving, and Scripture. A parent may cancel any time with one email, and all records for that Ranger are deleted.
The Christmas Contest
October 1 – December 15 · Winners called by December 22
Write a one-page paper: what the Ranger learned from the booklets — and how that knowledge will be used on their own street. Two winners — Junior Division (ages 8–11) and Senior Division (ages 12–15) — each receive the official brass RANGER star badge for Christmas, a phone call from the author (parent on the line, speaker on so the whole family can hear), and their essay published on the Dispatches page with the parent’s written permission.
Official contest rules (plain English)
Who may enter. Young Rangers ages 8–15 whose parent or grandparent submits the entry. The Ranger must have completed the Young Ranger Challenge (Level One or Level Two checklist in the back of either booklet).
How to enter. (1) The Ranger completes the Challenge checklist, and a parent signs it. (2) The Ranger writes the one-page paper — handwritten or typed, both count. Reading it aloud to the family first is allowed and encouraged. (3) The parent fills out the entry form below and pastes the paper.
What the judges look for. Not perfect spelling — heart. Do the lessons show up? Does the Ranger see a way to use honest work, saving, or giving on their own street? Judges: Greg Mattison and family.
The fine print.One entry per Ranger. All decisions final. The parent’s entry-form confirmation states the work is the Ranger’s own and the family accepts these rules. No purchase necessary — the booklets are free. Winners’ first name, age, and state may be published with written parent permission. The badge is a commemorative keepsake, not a rank in any real organization.

Child Protection Policy (the short version)
1. A grown-up holds the pen.Every enrollment, submission, and email goes through a parent or grandparent. We never communicate directly with a child, and we never ask for a child’s email, phone, or home address.
2. First names only.A Ranger’s work appears only as first name, age, and state — “Luke, 11, Oklahoma.” No photos without separate written permission.
3. No direct messaging.No chat, no forums, no comments, no live anything. The monthly Dispatch goes to the parent’s inbox.
4. Leaving. A parent may cancel any time with one email; all records for that Ranger are deleted.
