About SilverScoreboard

A scoreboard. A calculator. A broadcast. A petition. One mission: financial education and protection for the families Wall Street forgot.

Three generations at one table — that's who we build for.

Why we exist

Most financial media is built for people who already have a broker. The rest of the country — the teacher stacking silver on payday, the retiree moving savings into gold, the young family just learning what a "junk silver" quarter is — gets hype, jargon, and sales pitches. SilverScoreboard was built for them.

Our story

Why silver

I was a very young man in the early 70's. On my 12th birthday my father gave me a 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar from my Great Grandfather. That started my love affair with silver. I never spent it and still have it. It was my first piece that started my now 5 decades journey. That one coin has about a $55.00 price tag today. But silver didn't really go up, the dollar lost a lot of its purchasing power. Inflation, caused by the Government, has devalued our currency. That is why my passion in life is to help my fellow man (or Woman) build their own legacy with precious metals.

SilverScoreboard started the way a lot of good things do: a father watching the family budget, a stubborn curiosity about what money actually is, and a spreadsheet that grew into a scoreboard. The 2008 crisis and the years of money-printing that followed raised a simple question: if the dollar loses purchasing power every year, where does a working family go to see the truth plainly — and to protect what they've built?

The answer became a set of tools. A live scoreboard that tracks silver, gold, the dollar, interest rates, and inflation on one honest page. A free coin calculator — patent pending — that tells you what your coins are worth at live spot prices, down to the War Nickel. Daily broadcasts that explain the market in plain English. And a growing library of articles and papers on the debt, the dollar, and the quiet machinery of financial repression.

Our mission

“To help build generational value — financial education and protection for the families Wall Street forgot.”

That mission has a fairness arm, too. Right now the tax code charges gold and silver savers up to 28% on gains while stock investors pay up to 20% — plus sales tax on the way in, in some states. We wrote the KiDS Legacy Act page to explain that imbalance in plain English and to give every visitor a one-page letter and a petition to send to Congress.

The bigger picture

We are not financial advisors and we do not sell metals. We are an education company. We believe a family that understands money — what inflates it, what taxes it, what quietly represses it — makes better decisions than any advisor can make for them. Every chart, every calculator, every broadcast is built to make the honest numbers easy to find and hard to spin.

SilverScoreboard Media, LLC is a wholly-owned company of The Precious Legacy. Explore, learn, track, build — and never, never, never give up.
